CYCLIST KILLED.

COLLISION WITH MOTOR-CAR. HURLED TO THE ROADWAY. .. ■ lIBS FATALITY AT EPSOM. I VICTIM IN FORMER ACCIDENT. A fatal collision between a motor-cycle and a motor-car occurred on Manukau Road, at the intersection of Lewin Road Epsom, shortly before seven o'clock .last evening, the cyclist, Mr. Harry Mortimer Wright, aged 20, of Green Park Road Ellerslie, succumbing to injuries received Legs than a month ago Mr. Wright was involved in a similar accident, as a result of which he suffered severe concussion and was an inmate of the Auckland Hospital for several days. He was discharged from the institution on August 27. Just prior to the collision last .evening Mr. Wright was riding his cycle along Manukau Road in the direction of Onehunga. A motor-car, driven by Mr. Darley, of Liverpool Street, Mount Roskill, was travelling in the opposite direction, and when the car turned to enter Lewin Road the cycle crashed into it. The force of the impact threw Mr. Wright from his machine, and he fell heavily on the concrete roadway, his skull being fractured. Mr. Darley escaped injury. The St. John Ambulance was summoned and Mr. Wright was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital, where he died at 8.30 p.m., a little more than an hour after his admission. The cycle was wrecked, parts of the machine being strewn in all directions. The motor-car, a large sedan, was also damaged considerably, the rear left mudguard and running-board being severely buckled. Ajside window was broken.
