UNCERTIFICATED TEACHERS.
Sir, —In the Herald of September 15 » correspondent wanted to know why uncertificated teachers were still employed by the Education Board and your incjuiry 10 same should meet with general approval. We are all aware that certificated unemployed teachers can apply for positions held by those not certificated, hut I sincerely hope that your correspondent and others will not attempt to put our returned soldier teachers out of employment. Rather, let us all help them and always bear in mind what they went through for us. Of the remainder of uncertificated ones, I will only refer to one, tho "widow with children." I hope, she, too, will receive careful consideration before any attempt is made to put her on the unemployed list. I feel sure your correspondent will agree with me in the cases quoted above.
