The Melanesian M.ission steamer Southern tross is being delayed owing to repairs to her machinery and her departure for bolomon Islands and New Hebrides has been postponed until noon to-morrow. THE TOFUA. The Tofua arrived at Suva from Auckland on triday afternoon and sailed for Tonga and Samoa on Saturday evening. The vessel will return to Suva from Samoa and she is due back at Auckland on September WESTPORT PASSENGER SERVICE. The Union Company advises that owing to the steamer Komata having been laid up at Wellington on account of the slackness of trade no passengers will be booked for Westport until further notice. CITY OF KIMBERLEY TO UNDOCR. After having been fitted with a new propeller in the dock the City of Kimberley is to be undocked this morning and will berth at Central "Wharf to have her machinery connected up and repairs completed. It is expected that she will be ready for sea on September 24. NUCULA DOCKS TO-DAY. The Admiralty oil tanker Nncula is to go into dock this morning to have her hull cleaned and painted. The work is expected to be completed to-morrow morning, when the vessel will be undocked and despatched to San Francisco to load another oil cargo for the Naval Department in Sydney. THE KAIMIRO. The Kahniro is due from Westport and Greymouth, via Wellington, on Thursday. After discharging the remainder of her coal cargo the vessel will proceed to Greymouth, Melbourne and Adelaide, taking any cargo available for those ports. NIAGARV AT VANCOUVER. The Union Company has received advice that the Royal Mail liner Niagara arrived at Vancouver from Auckland on Friday. The vessel is to sail on her return trip to Auckland and Sydney to-morrow. She is due at Auckland on October 5. RONAKI FOR NEW PLYMOUTH. Owing to the M'anukau bar being unworkable yesterday the Ronaki did not leave Onehunga for Raglan and Kawhia. The Hauturu was also delayed by the weather at New Plymouth. On account of the Hauturu'a delay, the Ronaki is now scheduled to leave Onehunga at noon to-day with cargo for New Plymouth and from New Plvmoulh she will proceed to Raglan and Kawhia, but will not call at Wanganui. THE HERMINIUS. L. D. Nathan and Company, Ltd., have received advice that a further alteration has been made in the loading itinerary of the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Hcrminius. She will not load at Gisborne as was intended. The vessel is now scheduled to leave Wellington for Auckland direct to-morrow. She is due on Friday morning to complete loading and on September 23 she is to be despatched for London, via Panama. OOEINTHIC REPORTS. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Corinthic has reported by wireless that she will arrive at Wellington from London and Southampton on September 23. The vessel has passengers and mail for New Zealand and cargo for discharge at Wellington and Auckland. After completion of discharge she will load at Auckland and also at Napier, Dunedin. Timaru. Lyttelton and Wellington. She is scheduled to sail finally from Wellington on her return voyage to London on October 21. A. S. Paterson and Company, Ltd., are the local ageut3. KENT LEAVES SUVA.
