Mrs. E. Senior, of Wanganui, has left on a visit to Auckland. Miss Gilfedder has returned to Wellington after a visit to Auckland. Mrs. T. G. Thomson has returned to New Plymouth frurn a visit to Auckland. Miss Pope, of St. George's Bay Road, Parnell, will return this morning from a visit to Wellington. Miss Loudon, who has been on a tour of the North, has returned to Auckland and is staying at Arundel. Miss Merle Miller, who has been visiting Auckland and Wellington, has returned to Christchurch. Mrs. J. Haggitt, of Dunedin, Las arrived in Auckland from Rotorua and is staying at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. A. E. Tattley Miss Cicely Tattley, of Portland Road, Remuera, left yesterday on a visit to Wellington. Mrs. C. F. Nicholson, of Rangitoto Avenue, Remuera, and Mrs. Alan Nicholson left yesterday on a visit to Norfolk Island. Miss Isobel Pettit, of Auckland, v, ho has been studying music at Solway College, Masterton, has passed the examination for tho teachers' L.A.B. Mrs. T. E. Wood, matron of King's School, Remuera, who has been spending the holidays in the To Awamutu district, returned to Auckland on Saturday. Representatives numbering between 60 and 70 from the Taupiri, Ngaruavahia. Huntly, Te Kowhai, Gordonton ami Orini Institutes were addressed by Miss Stops, Dominion organiser, at Taupiri on Saturday afternoon. A very interesting and entertaining concert, which Yeflected great credit upon their teachers, Miss Joyce and Mrs. Le Page, was presented by the children of the Oratia school recently. The items were all of a high standard and among the outstanding ones were:—Toys come alive, questions, sea chanties by the boys, nursery rhymes in costume by the tiny children, a Japanese dance, and "the gun." After the concert a dance organised by the hall committee in aid of hall funds was held. At a 500 evening held by the Taupiri Croquet Club on Saurday the prizes were won by Miss M. Catlev and Mr. Catlev. The consolation prizes went to Mrs. Purcell and Mr. Adams. Among those present were Mr. and Mrs. L. Catlev. Mr. and Mrs. .T. Olds, Mr. and Mrs. "S. J. Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. F.
