MOTOR-CYCLIST HURT.
COLLISION AT ONEHUNGA. UNCONSCIOUS IN HOSPITAL. Severe injuries to the head were suffered by a motor-cyclist, John Stanley Denton, aged 19, of 380, Queen Street, Onehunga, as the result of his machine being involved in a collision with a motorcar at the intersection of Campbell Road and Queen Street, Onehunga, late yesterday afternoon. Tho injured youth was removed by tho St. John Ambulance to tho Auckland Hospital, whero he had not regained consciousness at a late hour last night. Tho cyclist was proceeding up Queen Street and. tho motor-c?r, which was driven by Mr. Henry Charles Parry, of Sandringham, was turning out of Campbell Road. Mr. Parry swerved to tho right in an unsuccessful attempt to avoid a collision and his vehicle crashed into a stone wall, tho front portion of tho car being wrecked. Mr. Parry was not hurt. Tho front of tho motor-cyclo was damaged.
