PHAR LAP AND AMMON RA. NO MEETING IN CRAVEN PLATE. (Received September 14, 9.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. It. Anticipations of a meeting between Phar Lap nnd Ammon Ra in the Craven Plate have been dissipated by Mr. Jamieson, trainer of Ammon Ra. Ho said to-day that he would not pit his cliargo against Phar Lap, which he regarded as "a horso and a-lialf." . The trainer of Cypress is dissatisfied with the way the horse wa« ridden on Saturday and considers he etill has a chance against the champion in the Derby. Phnr Lap. Amnion Ka and \ eilmond are engaged in the Hill Stakes at Rosehill next week-end, but it is not expected that all will start.
