ELECTRICAL DISTURBANCE.
TELEPHONES DISORGANISED. A severe electrical disturbance occurred at Ileefton last, week. A terrific discharge fused all electrical equipment in tho town. The point of contact appeared to l*o at a dwelling house, which was set, on fire. Only six telephones out of 78 were in order after the disturbance, wireless sets were put out of action, and all house fuses were blown. The damage at the, power station is estimated at £7OO. On one side of the town, pictures or tho walls were damaged, and tho windows of houses wero broken. There wero no casualties.
