OLD BOYS' REUNION.
OTAGO HIGH SCHOOL PUPILS. After an interval of seven years since (ho last, reunion held in Auckland, old boys of (ho Otago Boys' High School held a smoke concert in the Chamber of Commerce Hall on Saturday evening. There was an attendance of about 80, many of tho old boys having come from distant parts of the province. Sir Alexander Ilerdman presided. The committee responsible for arranging the function comprised Messrs. E. C. Cutten, S.M., J. ,T. Kingston, C. M. Littlejohn, W. B. Eyro and Drs. J. Hardie Neil, P. A. Lindsay, G. Borrie and Kenneth Mackenzie. Mr. D. W. Faigan acted us secretarv.
One of tho early pupils of tho school, Mr. F. H. Campbell, wlio later was associated with it as a master for over 40 years, was tho' guest of hoinjur, and he rebated interesting reminiscences of the early days, as well as recounting a number of old boys he had met in England, the United States and other countries during his travels.
Several toasts were honoured and two school songs were sung. At the conclusion of the evening the roll was called. .As the names of more than 150 Auckland old boys were handled in, it is hoped to make tho reunion an annual function.
