(Received September 13, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Sept. 12. In the final round of the national singles lawn tennis championship at Forest Hills to-day Vines defeated Lott 7—9, 6—3, 9—7, 7—5. In the semi-finals Lott liad defeated Doeg, 7—5, 6—3. 6—o, and Vines had defeated Perry (England), 4—6, 3—6, 6—4, 6—4, 6—3. RUNNING CHAMPIONSHIP. BATEMAN'S 15-MILES TITLE..
