WEEK-END WEATHER.
CONDITIONS IN THE SOUTH. Auckland.—Tho weather was changeable during the week-end. Saturday was fine, tho wind being light south-west.-Yesterday the wind had changed to the north and frequent showers were experienced. After falling yesterday morning, the barometer was steady at 29.65 in. during the evening, but began falling again at a late hour. Wellington.—Saturday was a glorious day, with bright, warm sunshine and, an entire absence of wind. The skies clouded over during the night, and Sunday was showery, with a light northerly wind. Christchurch.—The weather on Saturday was bright and sunny, but there was a fresh south-westerly breeze. Sunday was dull and chilly, with a north-easterly breeze. The barometer was steady at 29.66 in. Dunedin.—The weather was fine but cold on Saturday, with a light breeze from the south-west. The barometer fell during the day and registered 29.85 in. on Saturday night. Conditions _on Saturday were fine and pleasant, a light breeze blowing from the north-east. The barometer was still falling and last evening registered 29.60 in.
