SHOOTING FATALITY.
ALBANY YOUTH'S DEATH. GUN ACCIDENTALLY EXPLODES. BOYS HUNTING FOR RABBITS. A. fatal shooting accident occurred at Albany on Saturday afternoon, the victim being Warwick James Ingham, aged 16, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ingham, of Albany. Accompanied by another boy of the same age, Frank Gill, he was engaged in shooting rabbits on a farm property about half a mile from the township. Both boys were carrying shotguns. Ingham was walking a slight distance in front of his companion when the latter's gun accidentally exploded. The charge struck Ingham on the left side and he died almost immediately. His companion ran for assistance and Dr. R. G. Dudding, of Northcote, wan summoned.
An inquest was opened yesterday afternoon before the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., and, after evidence of identification had been called, the inquiry was adjourned sine die.
