SUSPENSION OF AWARDS.

REQUEST TO GOVERNMENTS. AUSTRALIAN BUSINESS MEN. MELBOURNE. Sept. 8. The employers' organisations will meet in conference next week to formulate a request to all the Governments for the temporary suspension of the State industrial awards, or of sUch awards as are hampering trade and commerce.
