BOOKINGS FOR NEXT FAIR. LARG£ SPACE TAKEN. (Reoeived September 8, 8.5 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, Sept. 2. According to the general manager of the British Industries Fair, the Birmingham and London sections of which will be opened simultaneously on February 22, the week beginning August 23 was one of the best weeks jn the history of the fair for space bookings. The space taken for the Birmingham Mction, which will contain . exhibits of the hardware, engineering, electrical and heavy industries, amounts to more than 10,000 square feet, and 200,000 square feet in all are now definitely booked, tearing unlet only about 40,000 square feet, of which some part is provisionally reserved.
