MASONIC BALL.

Masonic Lodge, Takapuna, 202, held a social evening and dance at the Pirate Ship at Milford last evening. There was a good attendance of members with their wives, as well as visitors from other clubs, and a thoroughly enjoyable evening was spent. The Worshipful Master, Mr. C. Black, welcomed those present, and Mr. Warbrick was master of ceremonies for the evening. Supper was served upstairs on long tables, where the decorations were particularly effective. The daffodils, which were given by Mrs. Mills, were arranged in wide glass vases, and yellow streamers lined the table. During the evening items were given by Miss Tyer, Miss Winifred Hill, Mr. Hunter, Mr. Fogarty, Mr. Munroe and Mr. Mcllor. Among those present were.—Mrs. C.
