ROTORUA.

An interesting address, illustrated with* compositions from the works of Beethoven and Chopin, was given to memb.ers of th® Rotorua Women's Club on Saturday evening by Miss Alice Law, L.R.A.M., of Auckland. A bouquet of carnations and fern was presented to Miss Law and later supper was served. On Monday evening a concert was given to the patients at the Sanatorium by members of the St. Luke's Girls' Club, under the auspices of thei Rotorua Women's Club who entertain the patients with a concert each month. The programme was taken from that given by the Girls' Club in the Majestic Theatre recently, in aid of the local relief funds, when the sum of £ll was handed over to the funds. At the conclusion of the evening Mrs. W. L. Richards, on behalf of the Women's Club, thanked the performers for their entertainment. A vota of thanks was, also passed by one of tho patients on their behalf. The patients and performers were the guests of the Women's Club at supper. - - Miss Molly Gilfillan, of Auckland, ia . visiting Rotorua and is the guest of Mrs* A. G. Holland, of Carnot Street.
