AUCKLAND UNION MEETING.

ALL BLACKS CONGRATULATED

REFEREES FOR OTAGO MATCH

Arrangements for the representative match botiveen Auckland and Otago at Eden Park on Saturday were finalised at a meeting of the management committee of the Auckland Rugby Union last evening. Messrs. A. Tilly and G. Nicholson were appointed managers of the Auckland team. Oil the motion of the chairman, Mr. H. Frost, it .was resolved to send letters of congratulation to P. Solomon on gaining All Black honours for the first time in the forthcoming test match with Australia, and ajso to "W. Batty find M. Corner, who have represented New Zenland on former occasions.

The following referees' names were submitted to the committee ns. being available for selection for the representative match lit Edan Park on Saturday:—Messrs. A- E. Austin, M. Kroiifcld, C. F. Paul], G. Peace and F. E. £. uherland. *

Tho following ground officials were appointed for Saturday:—Western Springs, Mr. Jensen; Avondale, Mr. Robertson: North Shore, Mr. Carr; Point Chevalier, Mr. Conyngham; Gribble-Hirst Park, Messrs. McGregor and Mnhoney.
