Don Brs.dman does not deny that he has received at: offer to play for Accrington Cricket Club, Lancashire. It is believed that the offer is a very rich one, hut Bradman refuses to slate whether he will accept it. He would not even be drawn into a discussion on the matter. REPORTS FROM LANCASHIRE. NO OFFER TO ' NELSON. LONDON, August 31. >" Don Bradman never offered his services to Tin," said the secretary of the Nelson Cricket Club, in the Lancashire League, " and we know nothing about him. Wo are retaining Constantino for two more years." The Neivs-Chronicle says it understands that another Lancashire club, backed by Lancashire County, is making a serious effort to obtain the services of Fairfax, the Australian all-round player.
