LAWN TENNIS.
MELROSE CLUB!S SEASON. The annual meeting of the Melrose Park Lawn Tennis- Club (Devonport) was presided over by Mr. T. C. Enwright. The chairman said the past year was a successful otie, the balance-sheet showing a balance of over £ls. This was a good position, considering the money spent on the grounds and that fpur chip courts had been laid down. The following officers were elected: — Patron. Hon. E. W. Alison; president, Captain F. P. Flinn; vice-presidents. Dr. H. C. Bennett, Messrs. A. Boldero. R. Diokey, T. Carr. Enwright, H. Davis. S. H. Lyons, I. Massey. M. Mdrgan. G. R. Scotland, L. .Spinlov. F. Sullivan. T. Walsh: club captain, Mr. A. J. Williams: hon. secretary and treasurer. Mr.- L. Watson; auditor, Mr. A. J. Muirhead: committee. Messrs. L. Bates, R. S. Dickey, W. I MacLcan. W. Robertson, W. Turner.
