CHRISTIAN CONTENTION.
REV. L. 13. FLETCHER'S RETURN The Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher, of the Beresford Street Congregational Church, who left for Sydney on August 11 to attend the Christian Endeavour convention, returned on Saturday by the Ventura, lie was accompanied by Sirs. Fletcher. Mr. Fletcher, who was the principal speaker at the convention, said the proceedings were marked by,the utmost enthusiasm. It was a wonderful experience. It is the intention of the Beresford Street Church to free Mr. Fletcher from time to time to allow him to carry out work throughout New Zealand similar to that performed by him in the youth l evangelistic campaign in London.
