MERCANTILE AUXILIARY
The girls of tho Mercantile Auxiliary Club made their final distribution last week for this winter of their work on behalf of tho poor and needy of the city. During tho winter the girls have collected and mended used garments, made new clothing, knitted, etc., and their efforts have assisted the Comfort Ship, Sister Esther, Sister Margaret and tho League of Remembrance. _ They have also outfitted one or two individual cases which came directly to their notice. Although they will not make any further distribution this year they will continue their work in readiness' for an early commencement next winter.
