ATTRACTING TOURISTS.
TRAVELLERS FROM FRANCE. DOMINION PUBLICITY URGED. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION'.] BOTOB-UA, Monday. A French journalist. Mr. Joseph Major, formerly on the staff of the Figaro, is at present visiting Botorua. He said in France and the Continent practically nothing was known of New Zealand, and, in his opinion, New Zealand was neglecting a very profitable tourist field by concentrating on publicity in Britain. French and Continental tourists would come to New Zealand in large numbers if steps were taken to attract them.
