EARL JELLICOE.
ARRIVAL AT QUEBEC. EMPIRE SERVICE CONVENTION. (Received August 23, 5.5 p.m.) QUEBEC, August 2*2. Earl Jellicoe arrived at Quebec to-day from London, en route lo Toronto, to preside at the fifth biennial convention of the British Empire Service League on September 5. A salute of 19 guns was fired, and Earl Jellicoe was given a warm welcome by a distinguished gathering of soldiers, veterans, and officials.
