AUCKLAND CHAMPIONSHIP. The Auckland provincial billiards championship will commence this evening in the rooms of Messrs. Billiards, Ltd. The entry is a record one. includins W. E. Hackett, present holder of both the Auckland and New Zealand titles, and O'Donoghue. a former champion. This year's championship should be productive of some high-class play and the ultimate winner will have to perform very consistently.
