BROADCASTING.
Sir,—The Radio Broadcasting Company of Fear - Zealand, Limited, is apparently so anxious to retain the monopoly it- has held tor so teg in the local broadcast world that, Ike a political party on die ! eve of an election, it comes to light- with a brand new policy promising listeners aB kinds of nice 4hia^,.-providing. the Government accepts the company's proposals. Use YA stations stand eandemaed on their programmes alone- I appeal to listeners to organise in a body and protest, in no uncertain maimer against the attempts of the Broadcasting Company to retain its monopoly. The Broadcasting Company is evidently labouring under the impression that America has the world's best broadcast system, and programme The programmes broadcast by 2LG, London, are reported to be the bestin the world, and I was surprised to learn that no attempt had been made by the company to get some recorded programmes from Britain.
