GEORGE CUP COMPETITION. VARIOUS CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS. The George Cup medal competition was played in conjunction with the fourth round of the 72 holes medal competition by members of the Auckland Golf Club at Middlcrnoro on Saturday. Ideal conditions prevailed and scoring, generally, was good. The 72 boles medal competition for which Mr. R. C. Horton presented a silver bowl, was won by R. D. Horton whoso three best net rounds out "of four were:—7s, 67, 7G—218. E. B. Brown was second with 22G. C. Tov.-le won the trophy for the best score in the fourth round.
