LOOKING TO THE FUTURE.
CENTRE FOR A CONFERENCE.
When the New Zealand Manufacturers* Conference, held in Wellington last week, was considering the question of where tha conference should be held next year, aa invitation wag extended by an Auckland delegate to hold it in Auckland. It waa pointed out, however, that there mighi be a new Government in power with a new policy, and it might be necessary to see the Prime Minister more than once; it might be desirable for' several reasons again to hold the conference in Wellington. ' . It was decided to leave the matter in the hands of the federation president and executive to arrange according to circumstances.
