BAPTIST TABERNACLE.
ANNIVERSARY SERVICES. Tire 75th anniversary of the Baptist Tabernacle Church was the occasion of special services yesterday. The preacher in the morning was the Rev. Joseph W. Kemp, while in the afternoon a combined rally of the Sunday School and Bible Classes was addressed by Dr. J. M. Laird, of Glasgow. The evening service was an appeal directed to young men, the preacher being Mr. Howard Knight, who gave his farewell sermon prior to leaving for China, where he will be engaged in mission work for the China Inland Mission. All meetings were well attended. Special music was rendered by the choir, and the evening service was broadcast. A tea for church members and friends will be held on Wednesday and will he followed by the annual business meeting of the church.
