KING'S SCHOOL TOURNAMENT. ANNUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS HELD. JThe annual boxing championships of King's School were held in the gymnasium last night before a crowded attendance. That the-boys take their boxing seriously was made evident by the determined way in which the boxers fought their contests to the finish. Results were as follows: Bantam-weight (701b.).— I T. W. Smith (661b.), beat D. H. Abbott (651b). Final: Smith beat H. T. Leys (G9lb.). on points. Light-weight (771b.). —F. W. "Willis (751b.>, beat H. CI; Jenkins (701b.). on points; 1. L. R. Wilson (7G51b.), beat 11. A. L. Chapman (7311b.), t.ho fight being stopped in tho third round; K. McD. Maben (761 d.). boat W. Mountain (771b.), on points; R. M. Singer (741b.), bent F. W. Willis on points. I. L. R. Wilson bc.it K. McD. Maben on points. Final: Singer beat Wilson on points. Welter-weight (841b.). —F. E. Major (801b.), beat A. L. M. Allan (841b.); A. 11. Lamer (S2Jlb.), beat K. X. R. Wilson (84lb.); F. E. Major beat H. G. Jenkins on points. Final: Major beat Lamer on points. Middle-weights (911b.).—1?. B. Abbott (9021b.), beat K. F. Willis (85]1b.); G. L. Thorburn beat A. L. M. Allan (90,'1b.); K. C. Lee (90?lb.). beat R. B. Abbott; G. L. Thorburn beat D. G. E. Brown (8551b.). Archdall (13641b.). in a one-sided bout. The winning house was Bruce. School being second and Marsden third. ™ e prize for the best boxer went to T. \\. Smith, for the best of the novices to I<. W. Willis, and the prize for the gamcst boxer was won by D. G. E. Brown.
