/. . / HAWKE'S BAY V. AUCKLAND. SECONDARY SCHOOLS' FIXTURES. The return representative Rugby fixture between Auckland and Hawke's Bay will be played at Eden Park this afternoon, commencing at three o'clock. The visitors are said t° have a well-balanced fifteen and v rJ 36 ca P* a ' ne< i by. the ex-Aucklander, A. a. Cooke. Other well known players are Orrenside, Gemmell, Steere, Anderson and With the improved form shown by the horns team last Saturday against Waikato it is expected that the margin between the teams will not be as large as that when tney met at Napier earlier in the season. On that occasion Hawke's Bay was successful by 19 points to 8. Mr. A. E. Austin has been appointed referee for the match. Some fine football should be provided in the curtain-raiser at 1.30 o'clock, when the annual match between New Plymouth High School , and Auckland Grammar School will be playe-1. The visiting team is not so strong a-s usual and will be faced with strong opposition in the local school fifteen, which has proved a fine combination.
