EXPERIMENTS ON RATS.
WORK IN NEW ZEALAND.
(Received August 17, 9.15 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 17,
The Hobson's Bay, which reached Sydney to-day, had on board fivo white rats, which are en route to New Zealand.
The rats ore being brought out for experimental research work by Dr. I. Cunningham, a plant research specialist, attached to the Department of Agriculture at Palrnerston North.
Four other rats died from heat in the Red Sea,
