RAKWOOL STRIKES j FENCE.
INDICATED LEG BROKEN
(Received July 20, 12.35 a.m.) MELBOURNE, July 19
Eakwool, which won the Grand National Steeples brilliantly on Saturday week, jumped atrociously in the Godfrey Watson Steeples at Caulfield yesterday and ended by crashing side-on at a fence. The horse injured' its stifle, and may not start in the forthcoming Australian Steeples. Indicate also fell and broke a leg and had to be destroyed.
