REDUCTION IN WAGES.
BANKS AND INSURANCE. COURT GRANTS APPLICATION. MELBOURNE. July 18. The Full Courts of Arbitration has granted the applications by employers for a 10 per cent, emergency cut in wages. The Court held that there was no. reason why bank and insurance officers, members of the Service Guild and wireless operators should not share in the effort to re-establish Australian industry on a new level.
