OLD-TIME CRICKET.
MATCH AT HAMBLEDON. NAVAL TEAM TO PLAY. LONDON. July 10. Wearing pigtails and 18th contuiy naval rig, a cricket team from H.M.S. Nelson will ' meet a Hambledon village team on Broadhalfpenny Down on August 1. Hambledown will play in old-time village costumes, lop hats, smock coats and knee breeches. The scorers will use a 'table belonging to the old Hambledon Club. The game will be played with only two stuinps and a hole between, according to traditional style, and the organisers are scouring England lor old-fashioned spoon-shaped bats.
