TWO SHOPS ENTERED. GOODS AND MONEY STOLEN. [i; V TELEGRAPH. —OWN fORIiESPOXDEST.] WHAKATANE. Tuesday. Two burglaries occurred at Whakatace last night. The premises of Mr. .T. Franklin, draper, were entered. Holes %veie bored in a back door so that tfw bolts could be withdrawn. A quantityoi clothing, of an estimated value of £SO, was stolen. Mr. R. C. Tipper's shop was entered by prising up a back window. The sunt of £8 in cash and a largo quantity of tobacco, confectionery and fruit were taken. 4 —— . »■—
