FINANCE'S FOR THE YEAR. SMALL SURPLUS SHOWN. [BV TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH. Monday. The Christchurch Tramway Board's receipts for the financial year just closed totalled £254,760 and the operating expenses were £175,616. After deducting interest and sinking fund renewal charges and the losses Ou the buses, there remained a surplus of £4387. The receipts include £27,272 derived from advertising and from the sale of current to tho Public Works Department.
