TRAVELLING SCHOLARSHIP.
SUCCESS OF AUCKLANDER.
Mr. A. D. Trendall left Auckland by the Monowai yesterday on his way to England, where he is to enter Trinity College, Cambridge, as an advanced student.
An old boy of King's College, Mr. Trendall has been on the staff of the college for the past 18 months, He has won the post-graduate scholarship in classics for the present year after having gained the distinctions of being placed first on the list for first-class honours in Latin at the M.A. examination at Otago University.
