KIWI HOCKEY CLUB.

The social hall at the Y.W.C.A. presented a very gay appearance on Saturday evening, when members of the Kiwi Ladies' Hockey Club entertained the members of the Kerepeehi hockey team, which is competing in. the country week tournament. * Tho hall had been tastefully decorated with streamers of Kiwi and Kerepeehi Club colours. Masses of flowers in bright tones made the room attractive and tho effect was added to by clumps of greenery arranged around the room. The guests were received by the club captain, Miss Fryer-Raisher.. In a short speech Miss Fryer-Raisher extended a hearty welcome to the visitors and later an enjoyable programme of musical items and games was given. The following contributed items: —Misses Waterworth, Matthews, E. and A. Graham, J. Ross and E. Linnett.

The committee members present were: — Mrs. Bedford, gowned in beige crepe de chine; Mrs. Mason, apple-green laco; Miss' Fryer-Raisher, green satin beaute and cream lace; Miss Mavis Clarke, scarlet marocain and georgette; Miss Daunch McMdlan, white taffeta; Miss Bunty Griffiths, green taffeta; Miss Helen Dickison, eau-de-nil georgette; Miss Eva Copeland, rose satin beaute and net; Miss Nessie Hawkes, maise crepe de chine; Miss Mena Waters, floral georgette; Miss Masie Graham, black velvet; Miss Mabel Francis, beige velvet; Miss Isabel' Grace, green figured satin. Others present were: Mesdames Grant-Cowen, Graham, Clifford Bertleson, Hegh, Kidd, Misses P. H. Dawson. A. Tvviname, E. Hegh, J, Rogers, M. Atkins, J. Boss, E. Graham, A. Graham, Betty Griffiths, I.
