WEDDING.
ANDERSON-VOELCKER. At Holy Trinity, Brompton, on Juno 11 Captain Roderick A. Anderson, M.C., The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), younger son of Mr. and Mrs. John Anderson, Inveresk, Christchurch, New Zealand, was married to Miss Eileen Voelcker, daughter of Mrs. E. W. Voelcker and the late Mr. E. W. Voelcker, of 110, Ojkwood Court, Kensington. This was a picturesque Service wedding, for officers were in full-dress uniform, both the Royal Navy and the Army being prominently to the fore. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Lieutenant-Commander V. J. Voelcker, R.N., wore a frock of ivory duchesse satin, with a graceful train of old Limerick lace. Her bouquet was of pink roses. 1 The four bridesmaids, dressed in delphinium blue lace, with caps of silver and carrying bouquets of pink roses, wero Miss Auriol Silverwood-Cope, Miss Christine McClure, Miss Marjorie Jordare and Miss Anne Morris (niece of the- bride groom). Mr. J. E. B. Whitehead, The Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), was best man. The choral ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Prebendary*A. W. Gough, rector of Brompton. As the bridal party left the church pipers of the regiment played them to their cars.
