BANK GOVERNORS MEET. DR. LUTHER VISITS LONDON. £50,000,000 REPORTED WANTED. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received July 10, 7.5 p.m.) LONDON, July 9. Dr. Luther, president of the Reichs-. bank, arrived at Croydon to-day by aeroplane and had a conference for two hours with the Gorman Ambassador, Baron von Neurath, before leaving for Paris. He will later proceed to Basle for a meeting of the Bank for International Settlements. It is understood that Dr. Luther was accompanied on the train as far as Dover by 'Mr. Montague Norman, Governor of the Bank of England. A message from Berlin says the object of Dr. Luther's visit to London was to discuss with directors* of British banks, and especially the Bank of England, a loan of £50,000,000, which is necessary to rehabilitate Germany.
