TROUBLE ON FRONTIER.
POLAND AND LITHUANIA. CLASH BETWEEN TROOPS. PROTEST TO THE LEAGUE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyrisht. (Received July 10. 8.15 p.m.) WARSAW, July 10. A serious incident lias occurred on llio Polish-Lithuanian frontier, near Lake Duksky. Lithuanian frontier troops under cover of darkness transported the frontier posts 200 ft. into Polish territory, from which they were fired on from machine-guns by the Polish frontier guards. Poland has despatched a special investigation commission to the spot and also has protested to the League of Nations.
