GROCERY STORE BURNED.
PORTION OF STOCK RUINED.

Fire broke out in Mr. W. Mac Donald's grocery store last night. The back portion was gutted. The stock in this portion was ruined and the goods in the front were damaged by smoke and water. Premises used as a dye works next door were also damaged, but the stock was removed before the flames reached it.
Mr. Mac Donald's building was insured for £4OO, the stock for £1250, and the fittings for £135.
