DANGEROUS HOT POOLS.
WARNINGS TO PUBLIC. LOW WALLS AT SOME GEYSERS. [by TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] ROTORUA, Thursday. Action has been taken by the Minister in charge of Tourist Resorts, the Hon. P. A', de la Perrelle, with a view to preventing accidents similar to the accident at Whakarewarewa last week, resulting in the death of Miss M. Runciman in Puapua geyser. The Minister has issued instructions to have warning notices posted near dangerous areas in the locality, and in some cases low walls will be erected to prevent people going too close to the edge of geysers.
