MIAN GERE CLUB'S YEAR. The. balance-sheet presented at the' annual meeting of the Mangere Bowling Club showed that the finances were in a sound position* the year's surplus of income over Expenditure amounting to £2O. There was a large attendance, the president, Mr. W. R. Knight, presiding. It was decided to participate again in the pennant competition, of the Auckland Centre, " " The election of officers resulted asji, follows :—Patron, Hon. G. J. Garland; president, Mr. S. W. OTAHUHU CLUB. The annual meeting of the Otahuliu Bowling Club was held on Monday -evening, the president, Mr. William Ferguson, presiding over a large attendance. The balance-sheet showed that the year had been exceptionally successful, the club's position being improved by over £3O. There had been a reduction in membership fees, but additional-, income-had. been '-derived from tournaments and from afternoon teas, while there had been a profit of £9.from the annual-social. V

The report showed the membership to be •. 59. five less than last year. The report placed on.record.appreciation of.the.'services of tho green superintendent, Mr. G.
