WHAKATANE CLUB. - A 20 miles road race was held by the Whakalane Cycle Clu'b, when a strong head wind handicapped tho riders over the last 10 miles of the course. The result wan as follows;—A. C. Sunkt'l (fim), 1; D. Stewart (8m), 2; E. Nowland (3m), 3. and faatest time; A. S. Aberhart (1m), 4. Time, 53m. 28s.
