PROFESSIONAL BOXING. QUICK WIN FOR CARNERA. (Received Juno 16, 5,5 p.m.) NEW YORK, June 15. ' In a boxing match at Brooklyn to-day Camera, 19st. 91b., knocked out Redmond, 17st. 81b., in tho first round. Redmond never had a chanco. With almost tho first punch Camera landed a hefty right, which put Redmond down for a count of eight. From then on Redmond was rocking on his heels. Camera swarmed all over Redmond, never giving him a chance to get set. Camera pushed the fighting from the bell. Tho result was never in doubt after ho had connected with tho first blow. Jack Sharkey, the Boston heavyweight, who was to have met Camera this evening, climbed into the ring and congratulated tho winner as Redmond's seconds worked frantically to revive their man. BILLIARDS AT SYDNEY. LINDRUM DEFEATS NEWMAN. SYDNEY, June Hi. The Australian professional billiards champion Walter Lindrum defeated tho British champion, Tom Newman, tho final figures being: —Lindrum, 23,297, including breaks of 506, 437 and 432; New- 1 man (receives 5500), 22,596, including breaks of 640, 233 and 287. The pair will begin a match at Melbourne to-morrow.
