A notable event in the musical history of Auckland will take place on August 1, when Mark Hambourg, the famous Russian pianist, and Peter Dawson, the. noted British baritone singer, will begin a combined concert season here. - Both artists have had' remarkably successful seasons in Brisbane and Sydney.-
