AERO CLUB DANCE.

TROPHY PRESENTATION. The Pupil and Pilot Section of tho Auckland Aero Club entertained about 100 guests at the new clubhouse at Mangere on Saturday evening. Dancing was held in the lounge and after supper the trophies won by tho pilots wero presented by tho president, Mr. Spencer Mason. They wero as follows: —E. B. Waters, endorsed "A" pilot landing competition; A. McGruer, unendorsed "A" pilot landing; R. A. Kirkap, bombing. The president also warmly thanked Mrs. J. Lambert for her generous gift of a piano for the clubhouse. Among those who were present were:— Mrs. Spencer Mason, Mack lace and diamante; Mrs. S. A. Andrew, blue floral taffeta; Mrs. A. C. Jacob, Parma lace and net; Mrs. F. Cadman, black panne and lame evening jacket trimmed with fur; Miss Betty Poutney, shell pink taffeta; Miss Dot Evans, black taffeta; Mrs. H. P. Warnock, black taffeta; Miss D. Hawkes, shot taffeta in mauve and green; Mrs. E. R. Boucher, powder blue embossed georgette and diamante; Mrs. Howard Page, black taffeta and fleish pink net; Mrs. J. M. Goodfellow, red lace; Mrs. T. Philco.x, floral taffeta and net; Mrs. F. Treanor, black panne; Mrs. R. J. Copley, black panne and georgette; Miss Sellars, pink taffeta faille; Miss Thule, mist pink georgette; Miss Thora Ordanes, black faille and diamante; Miss G. Adkins, floral taffeta and frilled skirt of black net; Mrs. Lowrie McGregor, green and red panne; Miss Roria Thomson, salmon pink georgette.
