MOANA DANCE CLUB.
THE OPENING NIGHT. The Moana Danco Club, which meets during (lie winter each year at the Pirate Ship, held its first night for tho season on Saturday. In spite of the unfavourable weather there was a large attendance of dancers and a most successful evening took place. The Pirate Ship Orchestra played tho latest danco music. Among those present were: Mrs. J. Fotheringham, who wore a frock of black and grey flowered georgette; Mrs. E. C. Cutteri, black lace and black brocaded georgette; Mrs. Crosher, cherry chiffon velvet; Mrs. H. Matthews, pink georgette; Mrs. Smallfield, delft blue taffeta; Mrs. Chisholm, black georgette embossed with grey; Mrs. A. Tysoe, ivory lace; Mrs. Temple, black flowered satin; Mrs. Goodall, black georgette; Mrs. A. W. Short, black flowered georgette; Mrs. Rogers, floral satin; Mrs. E. Wiseman, white and silver lace; Mrs. Sinclair Reid, beige satin; Mrs. Lister, white satin beauto; Mrs. Randall, salmon pink georgette; Mrs. Rollo, shell pink georgette; Mrs. Keith DrafFin, lieige georgette and lace; Mrs. N. Chalmers, flowered georgett; Mrs. Eugene Sullivan, embossed georgette; Mrs. Anderson, Indian red moire taffeta; Mrs. Freakes, black georgette and lace; Mrs. McKenzie, red satin beaute; Mrs. B. Goldwater, spotted green net; Mrs. Heed, white chenille georgette; Miss M. Miller, red floral ninon; Miss N. Mason, phlox pink georgette; Miss Richardson, gold satin; Miss Mary Nathan, mist blue sprigged taffeta; Miss Sturtevant, scarlet crepe de chine; Miss Roma Warbrick. primrose satin; Miss K. Geddes, cornflower blue georgette; Miss Gladys Williams, fuchsia red georgette; Misg Phyllis Lewins, Chinese red georgette; Miss Bodlo, apple green net. Tho committee comprised Mrs. J. Fotheringham, Mrs. E. C. Cutten, Mrs. A. W. Short, Mrs. Crosher, Mrs. H. Matthews, Mrs. Bowden, Mrs. Beattie, Mrs. Mowbray, Mrs. Smallfield, Miss Mason.
