LAW OF LOTTERIES.
. POSITION IN ENGLAND. NO PRESENT REVISION. (Received June 12, 7.15 p.m.) British Wireless. RUGBY, June 11. Speaking in the House of Commons the Home Secretary, Mr. J. R. Clynes, stated that the Government had given careful consideration to suggestions that an inquiry should be held into tho lottery and sweepstake laws, but it was not satisfied on its present information that the balance of opinion in Parliament or the country was in favour of a revision of the existing laws.
