ROYAL GIFTS.
■ - At his own wish, no special celebrations marked the Duke of Gloucester's 31st birthday recently. During the day he was engaged in military duties with the Second Cavalry Brigade at Tidworth Camp, and in the evening he held a small dinner party for a few intimate friends. The Queen's birthday present to him was a pair of cuff links. Princess Mary sent him a wristlet watch, and the Duke of York a field-stick.
